NAMI (www.nami.org) – National Alliance on Mental Illness The nation’s largest organization focused on support and education for individuals suffering from mental illness and their families. The web site offers information about support groups, NAMI’s newsletter and magazine, as well as community events to raise awareness and fight stigma regarding mental illness.   professional affiliations: California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (www.camft.org) – I have been an active member since 1997. SCCPA: Santa Clara County Psychological Association Member since 7/08  other resources: Board of Behavioral Sciences (www.bbs.ca.gov)  – The state regulatory agency responsible for licensing MFT’s in California;
